New TV Series to Feature Los Cabos

Solomon’s Landing Restaurant owners Brian and Dawn Solomon hosted 75 of Los Cabos biggest movers and shakers in their lovely Pedregal Cabo San Lucas home on Friday, March 13, to discuss the launch of a new TV series that will showcase Los Cabos and the state of Baja California Sur.

Bill Boyce—a marine biologist, professional angler, longtime Baja resident, and, most importantly, a TV host of several award-winning productions—will be touring Baja California Sur over the course of 13 episodes of the new primetime series Destination Baja Sur; he’ll explore the coast, meeting old friends and meeting new ones, while also stopping at unique locations in search of adventure. Destination Baja Sur will potentially bring all this action to more than 128 million homes in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America. It’s set to air on NBC Sport Network, the Pursuit Channel, and the World Fishing Network later this year. “This series will be the most widely distributed fishing and adventure series on television,” Boyce said. The half-reality, half-documentary series will feature remote fishing locations, the Mexican culture, and Spanish history all the way from Turtle Bay down to the bustling action of Los Cabos.
