Celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Cafe Des Artistes

With a very fine style and an atmosphere of serenity, at nightfall on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, Café Des Artistes celebrated its second anniversary. Guests were welcomed with a cocktail made of peyote, nopal, mezcal with a touch of tequila. The award-winning chef Thierry Blouet created this wonderful concept and demonstrated the value and effort required for the reinterpretation of the finest Mexican cuisine, making fusion without losing the significant French touch that characterizes his cooking.
Blouet delighted attendees with a four-course dinner, starting with prawns and pumpkin cream soup. The second course was a confit suckling pig taco, beans, avocado cream, fried parsley, and fresh cheese, followed by a short rib and beef petals duo, creamy chipotle chile sauce, shallot confit, potato and bacon terrine, cauliflower mousseline, and to close, coffee ice cream, chocolate crumble, whipped cream, espresso shot and mocha-pecan meringue.
The celebration was a success, the congratulations from the diners continued night. There was also a media presence all night at the restaurant, which is located at the Marriott in San Jose del Cabo.
