Celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Cafe Des Artistes

With a very fine style and an atmosphere of serenity, at nightfall on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, Café Des Artistes celebrated its second anniversary. Guests were welcomed with a cocktail made of peyote, nopal, mezcal with a touch of tequila. The award-winning chef Thierry Blouet created this wonderful concept and demonstrated the value and effort required for the reinterpretation of the finest Mexican cuisine, making fusion without losing the significant French touch that characterizes his cooking.

Blouet delighted attendees with a four-course dinner, starting with prawns and pumpkin cream soup. The second course was a confit suckling pig taco, beans, avocado cream, fried parsley, and fresh cheese, followed by a short rib and beef petals duo, creamy chipotle chile sauce, shallot confit, potato and bacon terrine, cauliflower mousseline, and to close, coffee ice cream, chocolate crumble, whipped cream, espresso shot and mocha-pecan meringue.

The celebration was a success, the congratulations from the diners continued night. There was also a media presence all night at the restaurant, which is located at the Marriott in San Jose del Cabo.

  • This Year Sabor a Cabo introduce different style of Food: (Mexica Cuisine, Asados, Farm to table, Del Mar and Desserts.
  • The invited artist still being a Surprise.
  • The ticket will have almost the same price than year.
  • Sabor a Cabo was created to promote The food, and Los Cabos however it has allowed to donate a part for red Cross, firefigther, and this year to support also Letty Coppel foundation.

La asociación Restaurando Nuestra Historia, en colaboración con la International Community Foundation, en una conferencia de prensa en el restaurante Pithayitas, anunció la segunda edición de su Festival Gastronómico con el apoyo de generosos patrocinadores y reconocidos Chefs de Los Cabos, Todos Santos y La Paz con el propósito de contribuir con su trabajo al proyecto de mejoras de La Casa de la Cultura de esta emblemática e histórica ciudad minera de El Triunfo; El evento será el 19 de noviembre del año en curso en el restaurante El Minero; Comenzará a las 2 pm y finalizará a las 7 pm; La directora del festival, Selene Nikizuki Orozco, quien preside el evento, informa que el año pasado gracias al apoyo de CAREM AC, IFC y la contribución de la sociedad, se trabajó para restaurar la famosa chimenea “La Ramona”; Este año,
