The event hosted by Ron Hatfield represented Founding member’s such as

Don’t miss out on the opportunity of experiencing the culinary expertise and design wizardry of Executive Chef Roberto Valle of Voila! Bistro in this exclusive Gourmet Cooking Class for 20 people. An intensive lesson in preparation, handling, and design presentation of two gourmet recipes created by none other than Roberto himself! With his Mexican culinary heritage and his Gran Diplome from Paris’ legendary Le Cordon Bleu – prepare to be impressed! Cooking Class commences at 4pm till 5:30pm. Participants of the class will sample the prepared food that same day at the Wine-Pairing Dinner that follows.

ART GALLERY INSIGHT A gallery introduction to select Art Galleries will take place for the attendees of the COOK SHARP! CABO Cooking Class from 5:30pm until 6:30pm.

ART RECEPTION & WINE-PAIRING DINNER Join us for an evening celebrating art, fine wine and epicurean delights. The evening starts off with an Art Reception hosted by the Frank Arnold Gallery at 6:30pm followed by a Wine-Pairing Dinner at Voila! Bistro at 7:00pm. Executive Chef Roberto Valle and his dynamic team will create magic in the Voila! Bistro’s “Baja Chic” setting. This affair will be for a select 40 people. No Host Bar.

THE SIXTH ANNUAL “DOG DAY AFTERNOON”
Flora Farm hosts fundraiser on Nov. 8, 2009.

The Los Cabos Humane Society invites all animal and food lovers to attend “Dog Day
Afternoon,” a fundraiser at the Greene’s fabulous Flora Farm on Sunday, November 8,
2009, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Los Cabos Humane Society continues to benefit from everyone’s generous gifts and
donations. Since the inception of the CARE and the Cabo San Lucas Humane Society
merger in June of 2009,  the society continues making a much needed difference. We are
working diligently to improve the quality of the lives of those who can’t speak for
themselves and for everyone in our Los Cabos community. This culinary event enables
the society to continue reducing the number of animals through adoption, spay and
neutering, and rescue.

• Sample original cuisines by local chefs.

• This year’s local restaurants include: Local 8, Edith’s, El Vaqueros, Salsitas, The
Baja Fire Grill, Voila, Frutopica, The French Riviera,  Casianos, The Office,  ‘H’,
El Matador, Xoco, and Seven Seas. Better than ever!

• Special guest judges, Troy Chandler from Bonsai Bistro in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho
and Rusty Staub, legendary New York Met baseball player join local celebrity
judges to assess the restaurants in 5 different categories. These categories are:
Best Use of Local Ingredients, Best Plate Presentation, Best Prepared Dish, Most
Original Concept and Best Booth.

Special Guest Ursula Hermacinscki, well known Auctioneer who has been
involved with Wine auctions and fundraisers throughout Napa Valley and Aspen
will be present.

Come and join us for a fun event benefiting the Los Cabos Humane Society! A salsa and boat cruise aboard the Cabo Mar on August 25th includes salsa class and demonstration, music, appetizers and drinks. Boarding starts at 6 pm at dock MO on the Marina Cabo San Lucas.

Location: Aboard the Cabo Mar (located at dock MO on the Marina Cabo San Lucas, in front of Tesoro Hotel).

Tickets are $40 USD, which includes music, salsa dancing classes and demonstration, appetizers and drinks. Proceeds benefit Los Cabos Humane Society.
