Since 1990, the vision for Casa Hogar in Cabo San Lucas has been to provide a home for boys who required either foster care or permanent placement in an orphanage in our community. Today, Casa Hogar is home for more than 20 boys, ages 5 – 18.

About Casa Hogar
On February 6, 2008 the first boy was received at Casa Hogar, Joaquin was just 6 years. In less than 3 months we had 16 boys. Joaquin was placed back into his family after living with us for about a year. He now is living with his grand parents, we consider that a success.

We have been in operation for a 3 years and currently have 28 boys living with us.  Those boys are from 7 to 15 years old.  Our maximum capacity is 60.  Unfortunately our community will always have children that need our help.  Our ability to fill the house is limited only by funding. They are typical growing boys, going to school, playing sports, learning about life and ultimately becoming young men ready to enter a society and become productive citizens.

On December 12 an extraordinary event will be taking place that needs your support. The very first ModuVated 5K Run/Walk for all ages and levels will take place in beautiful downtown Cabo San Lucas where the Ciclovia takes place every Sunday. The vision of the ModuVated 5K is to motivate and inspire the community to lead their best and healthiest life by participating in this run/walk.
