This Saturday, December 2, we proudly present amazing Tenor; Maximo Marcuso!
Don’t miss this very special event! We were Sold Out on his last visit! Maximo will serenade you with his incredible voice in our intimate restaurant. A rare Cabo treat to have this world class tenor here for one night!

There will be a warm-up show and entertainment during dinner until the feature show with Maximo Marcuso begins at 8pm

We are reserving the entire Restaurant for this event. We will serve a special 5-course Italian-themed dinner and include 2 glasses of wine or house drinks with each dinner.

Our famous Bruschetta
Organic vegetable soup
Caesar or organic green salad
Main course: Choice of pasta; Carbonara with chicken breast, Bolognese with fresh tomato sauce, or Ricotta and Parmesan Ravioli
Dessert: Impossible cake, Chocoflan cake, vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce.

December Art Festival

Colina del Sol neighborhood in Los Barriles | December 3th, 10am – 3pm.

Just a short ride north of ‘downtown’ Los Barriles, you will find the neighborhood of Colina del Sol.  There, on the club house grounds you will enjoy the Asociación de Artes Holiday Art Show.   This show provides a showcase for local artists to present their creations to the public and just in time for holiday shopping season!!  This show offers art work from local artists, jewelry from Elizabeth Perkins, Sunny Dresses, Aprons, pillowcases and other fabric art, wooden bowls from Todos Santos, handmade cards, hats, just to name a few of the artists we will showcase.

While shopping, your nose will be tantalized to the delicious smells coming from our food vendors.  We will be featuring burgers from Gourmet Burgers of San Antonio who will also bring his sweet breads, jams, salsa’s and his delicious strudel (and you can order a whole one for your holiday party!).  You will also smell the aroma from the Sausage Ladies– and yes, there will be stock you can take home, Carmen and her smoothies and treats and ice cream bars.  Now, you may be a bit parched, and Asociación de Artes will solve that problem with our beverage bar!  There will be plenty of places to hang out and visit with your friends.  Come for breakfast, do your shopping, visit friends and go home after lunch!  The lovely grounds lend to a winding stroll through the booths, past the food and around the pool.

You will have the opportunity to also buy a raffle tickets one of our fantastic baskets filled with gift certificates for hotel stays, activities, beauty treatments and dinners!   Buy a ticket or 6 and get your chance to win one of the baskets worth hundreds of dollars each.  It is the raffle sales that provides the funds from this show to support all the kids programs we do.

To get to Colina del Sol, just head north towards the road to nowhere, and look for the signs!   We appreciate the support from the local residents – full and part time- and the visitors that come to this Holiday Show and make it a success.

Celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Cafe Des Artistes

With a very fine style and an atmosphere of serenity, at nightfall on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, Café Des Artistes celebrated its second anniversary. Guests were welcomed with a cocktail made of peyote, nopal, mezcal with a touch of tequila. The award-winning chef Thierry Blouet created this wonderful concept and demonstrated the value and effort required for the reinterpretation of the finest Mexican cuisine, making fusion without losing the significant French touch that characterizes his cooking.

Blouet delighted attendees with a four-course dinner, starting with prawns and pumpkin cream soup. The second course was a confit suckling pig taco, beans, avocado cream, fried parsley, and fresh cheese, followed by a short rib and beef petals duo, creamy chipotle chile sauce, shallot confit, potato and bacon terrine, cauliflower mousseline, and to close, coffee ice cream, chocolate crumble, whipped cream, espresso shot and mocha-pecan meringue.

The celebration was a success, the congratulations from the diners continued night. There was also a media presence all night at the restaurant, which is located at the Marriott in San Jose del Cabo.
