Sabor a Cabo “Rural” – MiraFlores – 2013

Sabor a Cabo ‘Rural’ a Huge Success

Top-tier Los Cabos restaurants and caterers including Baja Cantina, María Corona, Mama Mia, DOC Wine Bar, De Cortez, Nick-San, Mi Casa, and Denni’s Catering spent their Sunday in Miraflores—just 30 miles north of the San Jose del Cabo airport—for Sabor a Cabo “Rural.” More than 400 people turned out for the event, which—like the larger Sabor a Cabo festival aims—to showcase and promote the importance of gastronomy.
Sabor a Cabo, Rural, MirafloresMore than 30 organizations, including restaurants, purveys, and local artisans—participated in the event, which is produced collaboratively between the Los Cabos government and CANIRAC, the national chamber of restaurants. As the name would suggest, the event was held in a more rural setting: Miraflores in Villa del Carmen, which is one of the greatest producers of organic produce for Los Cabos restaurants.

Los Cabos Mayor José Antonio Agúndez praised the event and the importance of high-quality ingredients like those grown in the region. “[The] benefits are for everyone and we will continue praising the work of our producers,” he said in Spanish, as reported by El Sudcaliforniano.

Sabor a Cabo “Rural” also featured performances by Ballet Folklórico Municipal and Los Hermanos Pérez.  For more information visit: Sabor a Cabo
