A BENEFIT GOLF EVENT / EVENTO DE GOLF EN BENEFICIO – Casa Hogar

STROKES OF LUCK
A BENEFIT GOLF EVENT
December 16th and 17th 2011
Changing the lives of the boys of Casa Hogar, “One Stroke at a Time”

Once again “The one and only” Palmilla Golf Club and Troon Golf have generously made available their world class golf course exclusively for the benefit of Casa Hogar on December 16th and 17th. We have selected this date as our new permanent weekend so that the Holiday season can be a part of our theme. This year the first day will be a casual day for fun at the great price of (donation) $119.00 dollars and as in the past will include lunch and beverages. The second day will be a scramble/shamble format with a shotgun start and includes lunch, beverages and awards program after play.

The entry fee (donation) for the tournament is $ 149.00 dollars. Players can win some great prizes and have a great day all for the benefit of the kids that live in Casa Hogar. Golfers can play both days, for a donation of $ 240 dollars..

Today, our representatives are asking you and your business for support of this event. We are asking for Tee Box Sponsors to help offset the costs of operating this event. Last spring the sponsor program raised all the money needed to fund the event and almost two months of expenses were donated to help support our boys. Your support will help keep our doors open and continue our mission.

Simply, a Tee Box sponsorship is $400 dollars for two days of exposure to each and every player who participates in our golf event (we are anticipating over 250 golfers to play). You can represent your company and receive the recognition that you deserve as a local supporter of Casa Hogar. Signage using your logo and artwork will be prominently placed on a Hole for you. As a recognized charity, we will issue a Factura for your donation.

Since 1990, the vision for Casa Hogar in Cabo San Lucas has been to provide a home for boys who required either foster care or permanent placement in an orphanage in our community. Today, Casa Hogar is home for more than 31 boys, ages 7 – 16. It provides the basic and necessary requirements for food and shelter and education. As with most families, Casa Hogar is struggling to meet basic needs, often with worries on a daily and weekly basis about providing for these necessities.

Because Casa Hogar is completely funded by donations, it requires the on-going assistance and support of our Los Cabos community. I know that that these are challenging times and that there is a never ending stream of requests for your generosity, but I feel especially committed to the boys at Casa Hogar and so I am hoping that you can join us this year and find a way to participate in this event as a sponsor.

Thankfully

Respetuosamente,
Mike Pearce
Presidente, Casa Hogar de Cabo San Lucas, A.C.
