San Jose del Cabo, BCS – November 19, 2009 – This coming Saturday, November 21st, there is a new wine bar and cellar, “La Casa del Vino de Baja California” opening in San Jose that exclusively sells wine from Baja California.
Carlos Fernandez is the director and tells us all about his new adventure.
“Baja California has over 70 wineries with over 200 labels and many people don’t know about them. What I want to do is give people here in Cabo the opportunity to experience most of them. I am very honored and proud to have this chance as an native Baja Californian”
The wine bar and cellar will focus on the four main agricultural valleys in the northern region of Baja California; Guadalupe Valley, San Vicente Valley, Las Palmas Valley and Ojos Negros Valley. It will also have weekly wine tastings, wine expert forums and the opportunity for you to buy your favorite Baja wine and drink it there too. (With great conversations included!)
La Casa del Vino de Baja California is located in Plaza del Cabo, Blvd. Mauricio Castro #1952 (Carretera Transpeninsular Km. 32.5) locale #8, in San José or on the Internet at www.lacasadelvinobc.com.
Come, visit the wine bar and cellar. You will have a wonderful experience and take away a bottle (or two!) of Baja’s fantastic wine with you.
Coming in January look for a variety of the region’s best products: cheese, olive oil, olives, chutneys and artisanal preserves.
