Festival or Fiesta de Cabo San Lucas

October 18 – Cabo San Lucas Festival,  Fiesta de Cabo San Lucas

This festival celebrates Saint Luke, the patron saint of  Cabo https://viagracanadausa.com/ San Lucas (which means “Cape of Saint Luke”). Every October 18th, streets are closed off downtown for a parade. The festival features dancing, music and food vendors.

The festival usually includes a top musical performer, the coronation of the San Lucas Festival Queen, and numerous special events that take place over the 4 day  long party that occurs every late October.

Festival del Dia de Nuestra Señora del Pilar

October 12 – Festival del Dia de Nuestra Señora del Pilar – Our Lady of Pilar Day

Festival of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, the patron saint of Todos Santos. This date is celebrated as the founding of the town of Todos Santos. There are usually 5 days of activities, including a fair and live music in the plaza, most of the week of the 12th. There is dancing to live music in the evenings on the zocalo. And lots of food and drink. There is typically a parade of horsemen and a wonderful horse show October 13 and 14. Great time for the whole family.

The catholic church in Todas Santos, Baja California Sur is named Misión Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Todos Santos. This mission contains a statue of the Virgin of Pilar which is the focus of Todos Santos main Festival in October. A great place to take pictures.

This 11-day festival (the exact number of days needs to be confirmed) culminates on March 20, the feast day of Saint Joseph, every year. Beginning with evening parties and music on the 15 of March, the festival increases with carnivals and parades on weekends. Food venues are placed throughout all downtown, and booths carrying items like fresh warm tamales and sugared pumpkin candies are also available.
